Development of Jakarta especially the public space and the development of technology has a lot impact changing how kids nowadays playing. Many new games causing a lack of social and physical interactions, this also happen because lack of playground as a public space in Jakarta. This workshop will discuss every aspect about how important playground in the city, with the goal to make a design or redesigning new playground for kids. The focus will be how to make a playground that suitable with the progress of games nowadays.

Every individual actually has the ability to take important roles influencing the growth and the shape of the city. Development of Jakarta, especially the public space, and the development of technology hold a big role in changing how kids play nowadays. These days, many new games cause lack of social and physical interactions. Such thing happened because of lack of public space in Jakarta, The purpose of the workshop is to design or redesign new playgrounds for kids, which relates to its functions and creates balance in a way to have continuity around children’s activities and games as an initiative way to develop their adaptive and creative act of playing.

Setiap individu sebenarnya mampu mengambil peran penting dalam mempengaruhi perkembangan dan bentuk sebuah kota. Dengan terus berkurangnya ruang publik dan semakin majunya perkembangan teknologi, kota Jakarta mengurangi interaksi sosial dan fisik pada permainan anak-anak. Workshop ini merancang ulang jenis atau sarana permainan sebelumnya melalui perkembangan bentuk permainan sekarang, membuat mereka memiliki inisiatif dan kreativitas untuk terus mengembangkannya lagi menjadi permainan yang lain.
